New Mexico is a lottery state which awards a four year scholarship (equivalent to 8 semesters) to all students who graduate from a four year high school with the required GPA. This scholarship covers up to 90% of their complete tuition.

Albuquerque has the highest percentage of people with Ph.D's than any other state (largely due to our amazing science programs).

A recent study from US News & Word Report ranked our own University of New Mexico in the top quarter or universities in the US.
UNM's Nursing program was ranked 2nd in the country as well as the Photography program.
